Description: As it’s actually been starting to feel a bit more like fall around here (except today ?) we decided to suit up and put the ol’ flannel on for a trip down to the farm. Just in time for Thanksgiving here’s Farmstead Flannel, our newest milkshake IPA brewed with apple cider donuts, apple cider, and a tasteful amount of cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla, and lactose. We visited our friends over at Springdale Farm to get our hands on their delectable apple cider donuts and decided to do something a little unconventional with them. We dunked this 7.2% milkshake IPA with gobs of their sweet doughy goodness and then splashed in some actual apple cider as well. We then touched it up with a little vanilla, brown sugar, and cinnamon to really get the fall spices flowing with a bit of lactose to round it all out and add a subtle cream factor. Aromas of crisp apples and fall spices invite you to indulge in this delicious brew which is delightfully reminiscent of a favorite fall farm stand treat. Subtle waves of cinnamon and vanilla couple ever so elegantly with the slightly sweet apple infused base. You fall fanatics definitely aren’t going to want to miss this.
