Description: How many years has it been? Well we must’ve stopped counting, but it’s time again for Drake’s Anniversary Beer! We’ve taken our sour blonde base beer, and aged it between Chardonnay and Zinfandel Barrels [about a 1 to 2 ratio, respectively] for 18 months. After a panel of taste tests, we’ve come up with this treat. The beginning nose and flavor is a bracing lemony tartness, that smoothly lingers into a tropical fruit flavor with subtle oak hints. A mild wheat sweetness and dustiness leads into a snappy sour finish.
