Description: As you know, April 1st is one of our most hallowed days around here and we do a lot of things as jokes and use some crazy ingredients. Like what if we put some ridiculously rare and funky black truffles into a beer? Like not chocolate truffles? We’re talking about those elusive culinary fungi you need a special pig to hunt for. Well of course we got a pig and did it, and this time our crazy ingredient beer is stupid delicious. Truffleupagus is an imperial stout that was aged in Elijah Craig bourbon barrels for almost two years and then conditioned on savory and pungent black truffles, Indonesian vanilla beans, and Philippine cacao nibs.
