Description: This barleywine was brewed to celebrate the 19th anniversary of Belmont Station. Belmont Station is a star visible to the naked eye visible here on earth, near the Cassiopeia and Lacerta constellations. Belmont Station is also a star in the craft beer galaxy, and has been Portland's premiere beer destination since it opened in 1997. This barleywine has been aging in 12 year old bourbon casks for 9 months. It has a rich caramel flavor with hints of oak, vanilla and heat from the barrel. Cheers to 19 years!
