Description: This year’s Grace has a little less subtlety than previous years. Hey when you’re 65 years old subtlety is not on the top of your agenda! Whilst not typical of the Porter style, but certainly in her ladyship’s, we used a ‘dash’ of roasted barley to give a wee ‘bite’ that really pulls up to the bumper. Otago oats were used to deliver a rich, almost oily texture and a thick creamy, white head. New Zealand ale malt makes up the base malt yielding a nice warming 7.5% ABV porter for any winter’s day. Grace has hit her peak this year. Smooth, dark roasted malts, a rich hoppy flavour and aroma and plenty of Grace this year to go around, aww… shucks let’s just get on with it ! We’re hoping this year Grace will sell a little more slowly due to her being only enjoyed by a select few connoisseurs of big dark porters. That way we can stave off the protests for her return a month or two longer. So ladies and gentlemen here’s Grace ! No style guideline no compromise. Cheers The Brew Crew Alcohol : 7.5% a.b.v
