Description: Brewed as our entry in the 3rd annual Nebraska Hop Cup. Rye IPA puts a twist on the standard IPA. the addition of Rye to the grain mix imparts a subtle but noticeable spice character very similar to rye bread. We chose to compliment this flavor with a blend of hops grown by Duffin Knudsen and Midwest Hop Yards – all hops were grown within 60 miles of our brewery! Subtle sweet and spicy rye flavors upfront are balanced with a lemon citrus aroma and flavor and a lingering bitter woody-dry-finish.
