Description: For the first time, we aged our Almond Pop base in a Willet Bourbon barrel. After 12 months of harmonization, we continued with the Almond Pop adjunct schedule of toasted almonds, marshmallows, Madagascar vanilla, cake mix, and lactose. Barrel Almond Pop pours pitch black with a mocha cap, releasing aromas of amaretto, vanilla, oak, toasted nuts, and frosted cake. Up front we get a decadent chocolate syrup note leading into flavors of bourbon spiked melted ice cream sundae, crushed nuts, and marshmallow fluff that is all balanced out by a smooth but complex caramel nougat and vanilla oak finish.
