Description: Welcome to Summer in the Rockies, and our specialty Pale Wheat Ale, “Tropic Thunder”! This American Pale Ale is brewed with White Wheat, Clarified Pineapple, and Passionfruit puree imported straight from Columbia! To compliment the prominent fruit character, we used some very special hops from our stash: Amarillo (WA State) and Galaxy (AUS). Together these ingredients create a punchy, vibrant and drinkable Pale Ale worthy of deck-drinking (or porch-sipping) anywhere! We have found that the unique flavor of Passionfruit lends a “Sweet-Tart” character that blends quite well with the select hops. Amarillo are known for contributing a Strawberry-like quality, while the Galaxy add another layer of citrus/peach/tropical nuance. Add some Wheat Malt for body, and Pineapple for sweetness, you’ve got a party in a glass! …Pairs well with breathtaking Rocky Mountain views.
