Description: Toasted Summer is a collaboration between Finch’s Beer Co. and City Provisions deli in Chicago. Using the traditional German Kolsch style as a base we have turned this beer on its head by using American Cascade hops that have been toasted to bring out a subtle smoky, toasty character to the beer. This is especially noticeable at the end of the palate. We didn’t stop there! We then added more toasted hops and applewood to the brite tank to add another subtle apple, pear-like dimension to the beer.
