Description: The 2017 harvest blend was made from Marsanne grapes grown at Boushey vineyard in Washington and processed in house at Floodland. The marsanne was re/fermented with skin contact for a week in a tank on a puncheon of bright citrus forward acid beer. It was dry hopped and then put into an oak puncheon. After aging, I pulled young hoppy spelt saison from the open oak fermentor to add freshness and bring the acidity to the level that most complimented the grape aromatics.
