Description: Brewed as our contribution to the 2017 Great Australian Beer Spectapular (GABS) event, Dubbel Raisin Extra Stout is a real hybrid of beer styles. The dark malts and strong dark chocolate notes are identifiably stout like. The fruity notes from the blend of Belgian yeasts used contribute distinct Belgian ‘Dubbel -like’ flavours and aromas to take the beer in a different direction. And then, just to ramp up the fruit character there are the 2 separate raisin additions - one during the whirlpool immediately after the boil, and one at the end of fermentation directly into the fermenter. A rich, complex warming winter brew. Limited release.
