Description: FogHorn’s first Farmhouse Ale is brewed in the Saison style of Northern France and Southern Belgium. Using a specially sourced limited release Belgian Farmhouse Ale yeast, this is a complex blend of aromas and flavours that are a link to a very different tradition of brewing. Brewed originally as ‘house’ beers to keep farm workers happy, Farmhouse Ales are noted for their earthy and almost pepper spicy yeast character and a cracking dry finish. Unusual at first but very moreish - the dry finish and citric tartness from the high wheat content makes it perfect for warmer weather. Unfiltered, hazy and rustic. Very refreshing while also very complex.
