Description: We like our friends at Birdsong Brewing in Charlotte and we like collaborating with them. They get it. Beer is about craftsmanship and having fun. For this year's Queen City Brewers Festival we decided to make a beer that was a little off the beaten path and still accessible to all. Forgoing roasted malts and using Ethiopian coffee and Ghana cacao nibs, we have a light colored beer with the flavor characteristics of a stout. It'll certainly put the boom boom back into your heart.
