Description: A very classic oat stout comprised of oat malt, Maris Otter, flaked oats, British chocolate malt and various crystal and roasted malts. Rested in Widow Jane Bourbon barrels which previously held a combination of their 10 and 13-year-old bourbon for 15 months. After barrel aging, we conditioned this on large amounts of peanut butter, Tahitian Vanilla Bean, and Antidote coffee beans from our friends at Vagrant. The aroma is distinctly wet and weathered oak with swirls of toasted coconut, sweet vanilla and rich whiskey. The flavors are the same with a nice medium-full body and all flavors linger on the finish.
