Description: As the name suggests, this beer is English in its origin. With a subtle, roasty flavor and a hint of caramelly malt, this beer has an exceptionally smooth finish making it perfect for those patrons not crazy about hoppy beer. It is brewed with chocolate malt and East Kent Goldings hops. Another versatile ale from our brewery, you can take it home in a growler and enjoy it with a wide range of roasted meats and heartier food. Our Brown is named after the original town name of Manchester, Iowa. The City Fathers felt the name Burrington was too close to the name of another growing Iowa town – Burlington – so a change to the name Manchester was warranted. We liked the name Burrington, however, as it provides an appropriate English name to a great English style beer.
