Description: Tadarida—the genus of the Freetail bat—“shines like a shaft of light, when there is darkness all around.” A beacon of fortitude in the throes of crisis, this intense India Pale Ale will remind you that the world has a way of righting itself. The first of a varied line of IPAs from our north San Antonio brewpub, Tadarida was born in the midst of the Great Hop Crisis of 2008, a recipe cobbled together from what was available to us. Fortunately, what was available included some tasty hops that became the backbone of this (nearly) sessionable hop-quencher. Cheers to the power of the hop!
