Description: This ongoing collection provides us with a perpetually optimistic opportunity whereby we might purposefully assemble threads to weave an elegant sensory tapestry, one where the sum is more consequential than its components. As has been our custom, each fourth entry has been and continues to arrive as a dark Farmstead® ale. This blend is composed of Port barrel-aged Phenomenology of Spirit and wine barrel-aged Edith, each of which spent more than a year in oak slumber; the varied barrel lineage enjoyed by each of these elements included Damon, Flora Cuvee, Sue, and Sankt, amongst others. Following assembly, it was dry-hopped with personally selected Motueka hops from Freestyle Hops, our agricultural partners in Upper Moutere, New Zealand.
