Description: A slight haze hints at the wheat in this American White IPA. Heavy, resiny aromas waft off the glass, but they combine with the grass-fresh smell of a wet-hop beer and the slightest hint of melon. As you sip you'll recognize the piney northwestern hop flavor, detecting, as well, notes of lemon and white pepper, particularly in the finish. Brewed with Colorado wheat grown on Cary Wickstrom's farm in Orchard, CO and malted by our friends at Troubador Maltings around the corner, this beer also contains fresh Columbus hops grown hydroponically and harvested by CSU Professor Bill Bauerle. We are grateful to this team of growers and craftsmen who have enabled us to make a Colorado-grown fresh-hopped white IPA in the heat of summer.
