Description: Our take on the Neapolitan style, this Imperial Stout w/ Chocolate, Strawberries, Vanilla, and Lactose went to rest in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels just over 17 months ago. Once we were satisfied with the infusion of oak and bourbon character, we pulled it out and dosed with another round of vanilla beans and an absurd amount of strawberry. The result is a true adult dessert. Chocolate and vanilla lay a nice rich, roasty, soft, and sweet base, but this one is all about that STRAWBERRY! Bursting at the seams with a flavor and aroma almost reminiscent of Strawberry soda (but accompanied by the unmistakable quality of oaky bourbon spirits), this beer will both take you back to your childhood AND help you cope with being all grown up!
