Description: First release of Iron John's "Sour Series" beers! Fantastically complex, this Belgian Strong Dark, fermented with 10% red grenache grapes, spent the last 6 months in a Syrah wine cask developing its sour character. Earthy, ruby tones of red and brown, nose is slightly reminiscent of the grenache influence and the esters of the Belgian yeast. Tangy, crisp and effervescent, finishes clean.
