Description: John Mallet, from Bell’s Brewery, has travelled to Marston’s Brewery (Staffordshire) to brew this especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. This dark beer uses malted oats (long noted for the distinctive effects which they impart to beer), resulting in the rich chocolate depth of a traditional porter, beautifully balanced by the smooth body typical of oats – and finishing with a gentle, fruity hop note.
