Description: The Czech Republic is famous for brewing lager, with many celebrated brands available in the UK. However, some of the less known producers provide unspoilt, genuine, imported lagers that really give the authentic Czech experience. The Trebon brewery ranks amongst the oldest breweries in the world with Trebon Regent dating back to 1379. In this time there have been many custodians of the Regent brewery, but now it is family-owned-and-managed by the Stasek family. The family focus is on using the best of the beers’ heritage to shape its future, to produce Bohemian beers that are unsurpassed. JW Lees is the sole importer of draught Bohemia Regent into the UK. Bohemia Regent’s range is broad, however, it is their flagship Premium 5% lager that JW Lees brings across. The beers are made from Zatec hops, malt from its own malt-house and water from Artesian Wells.
