Description: Malts: 2 Row, Carafa, Dark Crystal, CaraFoam Grain: Roast Barley, Steam Rolled Oats Sugar: Lactose Coffee: Friedrich’s Coffee World Headquarters Blend Hops: GR Magnum, UK Fuggle Yeast: House British Ale ABV = 7.75% We added cold processed coffee to our sweet style milk oatmeal stout. It now boasts a noticeable coffee nose, thick chewy mouthfeel and low bitterness; notes of chocolate, roasted coffee, dark fruits, caramel and toffee. This beer was then aged in Heaven Hill Rye Bourbon barrels for 7 months. It emerges with a strong coffee and whiskey nose. The first sips are dominated by coffee and with warming the complexity develops to layer in the spirits, vanilla, oak and spice.
