Kirin Megumi's clean, fresh finish is a key characteristic of a crisp lager, which makes it the perfect beer to cleanse the palate when enjoyed with food. Kirin Megumi uses a unique brewing method called First Press, the craft of extracting only the first press of liquid from the finest malt – when ingredients are at their purest. Under the agreement the Japanese-brewed versions of this beer have ceased to be imported into Australia and New Zealand. They have been replaced with the locally brewed version that is brewed and bottled at Lion Nathan’s Malt Shovel Brewery in Camperdown, Sydney. This beer features new packaging graphics will be unique to Australia and New Zealand.
