Description: Special release of the 2013 Panther was aged in a bourbon barrel for SF beer week 2014-As its name suggests, the Baltic Porter originated within the northeastern European region in the 1700s. All European malts combined with lager fermentation bring a rich sweetness which smoothly transforms to a moderately roasted finish. Panther proudly uses San Francisco lager, AKA “Steam” yeast which was predominately used in the Bay Area from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century.
