Description: Barefoot Blonde is a New Zealand Blonde ale brewed with fresh pineapple and dry hopped with the sought after New Zealand super hop, Nelson Sauvin. The beer pours a brilliant yellow with a crisp white head that gives off a wonderful aroma of fresh pineapple and a hint of grape from the Nelson Sauvin hops. The initial malty sweet flavor from the blend of 2-row and malted wheat used is complemented by the fresh pineapple flavor that lingers on the palate. A light bitterness from the boil hops helps to round out the flavor of this beer resulting in an extremely sessionable blonde ale that balances the fresh fruit, malt and hops.
