Description: When the IPA Brewmaster Blake was sick (away) from LTD the other devious brewers decided to step in and take free reign on the style. Their concoction starts by using Golden Promise and American 2-row as the base malt complimented with light crystal to give this brew has a decent malt backbone. The hop schedule is one that even Blake would be proud of. Warrior and Amarillo hops provide the bitter bite while large late additions of Simcoe, Citra and Centennial provide the majority of the flavor. When Blake finally returned the dry hop additions were chosen to provide more of a classic pine/slight lemon/citrus notes using Crystal, Centennial and Falconers Flight. Even with Blake out, they managed to pull through on this one, cheers!
