Description: Brewed in honor of Pope Francis' visit to Philadelphia, this special ale combines a fruity, amber base with Argentinian candi sugar and is aged on Malbec-soaked oak wine barrels. Prior to brewing, Manayunk's own Father John Kelly from St. John the Baptist Church visited the brewery and blessed the brewing water. Notes of plum and dark cherries balance the delicate oak flavor and provide a one-of-a-kind experience.
