Description: How could one possibly write a succinct story about how we got these hops when Larry David was involved? We were minding our own business, when a guy named Jerry from our hop partner called asking if we wanted to test out a new varietal. We go way back with Crosby Hop Farm and their rep Elaine, so we obliged. The brewers expressed interest to George in continuing with a new yeast strain. A couple of phone calls later, and Kramer at the lab cooked up a pitch for us from a lovely San Fransisco brewery. The yeast character is stone fruit-driven and the hop is described as a "passionfruit melting pot." But we're not saying there's anything wrong with that. The beer got kegged up and Yada Yada Strata.
