Description: When we were trying to find inspiration for our entry to the North American Organic Brewers Fest coming up in June we turned – as we often do – to the Notorious B.I.G. for guidance. The resulting California Common style beer is a light amber lager fermented at ale temperature with a malt profile smoother than Biggie’s rhymes, and a hop presence to provide the balance that will have you “going going back back” for another. Malts: Organic 2-Row, Organic Rolled Oats, Organic CaraPils, Organic Crystal 15, Organic Crystal 40 Hops: Nugget, Perle Dry Hop: Northern Brewer OG: 1.055 TG: 1.009 ABV: 5.93% IBU: 38 SRM: 8
