Description: This is a Canadian twist on a classic Belgian-styled ale. Our blueberry wheat beer is made with a blend of wheat, barley malts and aromatic hops to create a smooth, creamy ale base. We add a huge quantity of blueberries (from the family farm of an employee!) and blueberry pure to the secondary fermentation. This refermentation on the fruit creates a wonderful “berry” coloured beer that is very strongly fruit flavoured but still subtle enough to allow the base notes of the beer to evolve on the palate.
