Description: We brewed this two years ago specifically to age up to two years in the barrel. It consists of a complex grain bill of 2-Row, Oat Malt, Victory Malt, Munich 1, Double Roasted Crystal, Aromatic Malt, Roasted Barley, Midnight Wheat, Chocolate Malt, and Flaked Barley. The body is impressive! We also added D-90 Amber Candi Sugar during primary fermentation to boost the Original Gravity to a theoretical 40 Plato (1.1790 SG!). It’s insanely full-bodied, almost port-wine-like. Deep chocolate ganache notes, fudge, and oak prevail. This will be a fantastic beer to drink now or lay down to enjoy in a year or two.
