Description: Even though we have a lot of experience with ageing beer in barrels, we never used other wood products. Fortunately, our friend Jamil Zainasheff knocked on our door with Sugar Maple Wood spirals. Together we designed a beer around this intriguing wood. With cocoa nibs, vanilla and maple syrup we complemented the woodsy notes of toasted marshmallow and mixed nuts. Best served at a temperature of 12°C.
