Description: Even though it is practically summer all year round here at Moffat Beach, this one is brewed for the roughly two weeks of winter we get here. The Voodoo Lady is jet black but it is silky smooth, dark, decadent and full of extravagant ingredients. This beer contains whole split and scrapped vanilla beans, organic Ecuadorian cacao nibs and we have added a good whack of milk sugar to the boil which the yeast can’t eat so the beer has an underlying sweetness and a little less booze than some of the stouts that are out there. Brewed for my wife Shaz who loves a good milk porter and named after a ween song that was played at our wedding.
