Description: Brewed with 10 pounds of Tellico Plains blueberries for this 20 gallon batch, this collaboration with Dynamic Ales of Chattanooga was our first foray into kettle souring at the brewery. The sweetness of the blueberries wonderfully contrasts the tartness of the lactic acid, creating a beer that is reminiscent of an unsweetened blueberry lemonade. Steps were taken to allow this beer to retain its head retention, creating a beautiful pink foam cap to a deep purple color underneath. Expect these fruited Berliners to flow out of Monkey Town for the foreseeable future.
