Description: In the true tradition of the style, our Golden is crisp, dry and use Belgian Ale yeast to highlight the subtleties of the traditionally fruity yeast profile. At straw-blond in its original color, it is surprisingly light despite its strength, but stands out because of its balance. Simplicity in its design is key in order to allow the yeast too to take center stage. Fully fermented, it has been laid to rest in red wine casks to take up the fruit character of the wine and to and to work with the wood tannins to create a depth of flavor to be enjoyed note, or after additional time in the bottle.
