Description: This is our second collaboration with John and Patience from The Grates. John and Brewer Alana caught up over a few beers during Queensland Beer Week 2016 and decided that, after the success of the previous watermelon Summer Ale, something refreshing, quaffable and fun to make was to be done. The result? Goat’s (and The Grates) first ever Gose. APPEARANCE: Light gold/straw. AROMA: Citrus from both the fresh blood orange juice and from the Mandarina Bavaria hops. FLAVOUR: Light bodied with a slight tartness and salty finish. Think sun and sea in a glass. MALTS: Pilsner, Maris Otter. HOPS: Mandarina Bavaria, Cascade. OTHER INGREDIENTS: Himalayan rock salt, fresh blood orange juice, German ale yeast.
