Description: SINGLE KEG Brewer: Craig Westwood India Pale Pilsner - a Bohemian Pilsner but hopped like an IPA. Fermented at a cool 12 degrees Celsius using a bottom fermenting lager yeast strain and then cold matured (lagered) for a further 8 long weeks. This delivers a clean Bohemian lager flavour with a refreshing level of dryness and and a hint of DMS from the Gladfield Pilsner malt. With an aggressively dry hopping addition of 3g/L of NZ Southern Cross hops, it brings a home pine needle and delicate noble spice. Now this is where the IPA treatment comes into play. Expect a punch in the mouth with a high level of bittering that creates a prickle akin to having your tongue smashed with Thor's hammer.. if it was constructed entirely of hops!
