Description: Weißbier is a Bavarian beer, where a significant proportion of malt is wheat. The tradition goes way back in the Bavarian brewing history, however in northern Germany, it is better known as hefeweizen. The style is especially known for its low hop bitterness and relatively high carbon dioxide, which is important to balance the beer’s malt sweetness. It is normal with a firm, creamy and long-lasting foam. It is fermented with a special South German yeast at higher fermentation temperatures, which gives beautiful notes of clove and banana. A wonderful beer that should be enjoyed in a large glass so the aroma of banana and clove can fill the glass. Served with fish and other light dishes. The slight hop bitterness provides a refreshing and highly drinkable beer. Served unfiltered at 5-7 degrees Celsius, (41-44°F). Freya is one of the most important goddesses of Norse Mythology. She is the goddess of fertility and the most beautiful of all the goddesses. She often drives a wagon pulled by big cats and lives on one of the largest farms in Asgard called Folkvang and owns the necklace Brisingamen.
