Description: In Germany, unless a beer is brewed according to the Reinheitsgebot (the German purity law) it technically cannot be called ‘beer’. IPA’s, where they are dry-hopped, fall into this category as the purity law implies that hops must be boiled. But we didn’t let that stand in our way and Murray’s The Kaiser German IPA was born. Using a new German grown hop called Hull Melon, which is of Cascade parentage, we took a standard malt base and added these hops throughout the brewing process and of course added plenty of dry-hops in the fermenter. The result showcases the flavours and aromas of the Hull Melon being, you guessed it, honeydew melon with a touch of strawberry. A very unique beer which we hope you will enjoy this Oktoberfest.
