Description: The way I see it, there are two types of people in this world -- those with a noose around their neck, and those who do the cutting. Both take a risk, and taking risks is what it's all about. So when Scottie Retread of the Webcam Teenz wanted a birthday beer, we took a couple of risks. First we took the classic California Common and tamed it with piloncillo to make it as dry as the desert. Then we added chipotle peppers and a touch of rye to give it an element of danger. And to be sure we stayed in the realm of the quick, we fermented it with West Coast ale yeast, ensuring that beer would make the 3:15 to the party. The result is a highly drinkable session beer with just enough heat to make things interesting. Catch it if you can, gringo.
