Description: When we asked the champion of our 2018 SDBW Darts Tournament, Tony Dowson, what his favorite beer style was, and he responded, "I just got back from the UK and had some amazing orange stouts!" Our head brewer pondered for a moment and responded, "Challenge Accepted!" After smashing one of those orange-foil covered chocolate-orange balls on the counter and munching on several slices, he brewed up this rich and chocolaty imperial milk stout and layered in a barrel's worth of pureed tangerine. Then we aged it with a dose of heady grade A Tahitian vanilla beans, 25lbs of roasted single-origin Tanzanian cacao nibs which added cocoa and incredible dark fruit flavors, and then zested in several navel oranges for good measure. The result blends the world of milk chocolate and citrus into a curiously delicious stout!
