Description: As the altitude grows, so does the beer. We've stepped up from the success of Striding Edge to a 5.0% IPA for the second of our Ricky Lightfoot collaborations. The aim was the same though, just how much body and flavour could we build in to defy the ABV? Once again Oats make a large portion of the grist to boost that silky mouthfeel and we've also gone heavy on the Vienna, a base malt treated at slightly higher temperatures than normal to give a more prominent biscuit flavour profile and good body contribution. We've mixed up the hops as well and taken the opportunity to try out some new combination. There's some classic US citrus contribution in the shape of Amarillo and Ekuanot to back up a relatively new variety out of Germany - Huell Melon. You can probably guess it's primary flavour profile, which we expect to shine through after a couple of lengthy dry-hop additions.
