Description: We took advantage of our Cornish friends Verdant being in town to commence a new series of IPAs celebrating 'Northern Heroes'. We shot for good drinkability but all of the mouthfeel you'd expect, utilising an English yeast strain full of soft Apricot esters to support a hop bill designed for stone fruit flavours. Add in the unique gooseberry, white grape character of Nelson Sauvin and you have an elegant balance of soft fruit but hop punch, with peach, passionfruit and pineapple notes all shining through.
