Description: Brewed with Blue Ox floor-malted pale, Munich & dark caramel malts & boiled for many hours to lend the brew a thick, velvety mouthfeel. We aged it for more than 12 months on two barrels, each from a different bourbon distillery, then blended the e barrels back together before bottling with Maine maple syrup from Pie Tree Orchard. The bottles were then conditioned for an additional 9 months to allow the flavors to harmonize & and round out the oak tannins. The resulting beer is a dark amber color, with malty whisky aromas & lingering flavors of molasses, chocolate, dried fruit & oak. Cheers!
