Description: Full flavored and bursting with white wine and citrus hop aromatics, this strong pale offering from our clean barrel room is our modern take on the American Strong Ale. We traded the style's typical caramel notes for a knockout combination of six big American hops: El Dorado, Calypso, Cashmere, Cascade, Mosaic, and Denali. The result is a big, deep golden hoppy ale that is pleasantly bitter to cut through the malt sweetness, with complementary acidity and tannins from a 3 month rest in Chardonnay barrels to keep the finish somewhat dry and accentuate the hops. Like our other high ABV options, the visible legs on the glass are the main indicator of alcohol as the warming effect stays smooth and drinkable.
