Description: Once a year we get together with our friends Trillium Brewing Company and brew in Brooklyn, this time we decided not only try and make an awesome beer but run a little sensory experiment. We decided to brew Triangle Test Imperial IPA using three different hop products. All the base beer is the same. Triangle Test with Citra Lupulin Powder is brewed with Golden Promise malt and 30% flaked oats. It's hopped 100% with Citra Lupulin Powder and receives 2 dry hop additions. Lupulin Powder is similar to T-45 in the way vegetative matter is removed by freezing, but is differentiated by a lack of blending back bract material for the standardizing alpha acids.
