Description: This month’s Barrel Reserve features a base wort from an East Coast-style pale ale. The barrel aged brew was fermented with a select blend of brettanomyces and farmhouse yeasts in first-time use Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Franc barrels. Farmhouse Pale Ale appears heavily veiled and golden in colour. Immediate notes of ripe pineapple radiate from the dense, off-white head before evolving into fresh mango and peaches with a slight underlying funk.
