Description: It is said that fortune-telling emerges out of folkloristic reception of Renaissance magic, specifically associated with Gypsies. Gypsies used a variety of fortune telling methods including the burning of herbs and incense while predicting human fortune and misfortune. Fortune telling gypsies were said to be "spiritually one with the earth". A gruit refers to an ancient form of brewing that uses several plants and herbs to create an array of aromatic and flavourful brews without the use of hops. Our gruit is a refreshing brew and the perfect spring drink to celebrate Earth’s fruitful labour with ingredients including lavender, juniper berries, honey, orange peel and yarrow.
