Description: Our Anniversary Ale is name Blackthorn in honor of the brewery's original and legal name (Blackthorn Brewing, LLC), which changed to Rinn Duin in April 2013 due to trademark conflict. Blackthorn 1st Anniversary Ale is an unorthodox approach to a Belgian-style Dubbel. With our heritage in mind, this ale is crafted with the finest UK malts, Irish yeast, & dark Belgian candi sugar, which lends a striking plum aroma. Prominent flavors of dark fruit and raisin are complimented by a lingering pear finish. 365 bottles were packaged to commemorate the occasion, Sláinte!
